A Purdue University study concluded: “ A little household help may reduce hospitalizations and healthcare cost among the elderly”
This philosophy supports the CareTime mission :
“To Maintain quality of life in the comfort of home, safely, and with compassion as long as possible”.
Our sitter / companions are the bridge to independence for many elderly clients. A personal care aide/ companion that spends 4-6 hours per day with a client several times per week may provide the necessary safety net to allow elderly loved ones to remain in their own homes.
Assistance with errands, doctor and other appointments, social engagements, grocery shopping, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, personal care assistance, general environmental oversights are key to remaining at home safely and successfully. Many clients are able to remain at this level of care for years.
